Testé contre la plupart des verrous D du marché, LITELOK X1 est au moins 5 fois plus résistant aux coupes des meuleuses d'angle. De plus, le X1 nécessite plusieurs disques à couper et, en raison de son système anti-rotation, doit être coupé des deux côtés pour être retiré.

Barronium®
Barronium® est une armure composite fusionnée qui offre une résistance inégalée aux meuleuses d'angle sans ajouter de poids supplémentaire. Il s'agit d'un matériau composite céramique super dur qui repousse les attaques de la meuleuse d'angle et concentre l'énergie et la force de la meuleuse sur elle-même. Une coupe continue use les disques de broyeur, les batteries et finalement le moteur du broyeur lui-même.

Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available).
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.
What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, our patented anti‑angle grinder material, applied as a permanently fused composite armour to provide maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.

Our founder and CEO, Professor Neil Barron, supported by Innovate UK, worked closely with some of the world’s leading material scientists for over 5 years to develop Barronium®, our ground breaking angle grinder resistant technology.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

Nothing but the best for my ADV350. So here is my new Litelok X1 Moto keeping it safe.
Just need one to secure the rear wheel. Just wish Litelok made a wider lock to fit over the tyre too. Maxiscooters are a target for thieves. Come on Litelok back to the CAD drawing board for Scooterlok X1.

Knowing that motorcycle thieves are likely to forgo trying to steal my bike… due to a lock that will take several blades on an angle grinder to cut through, makes me less worried about it getting stolen.

This lock was purchased as an upgrade to existing locks due to increased bike theft in our area. It fits easily through the rear sprocket and around the “spoke” of the wheel. It will not fit the front disc.
It is part of a layered security for the bike. Very pleased thus far.

The lock won't quite go over the tyre, although I could strip some of the protective cover off and it would fit. I am a little reluctant to this as it is such a lovely well made piece of equipment and don't want to alter it.
I can leave the bike now and feel confident it will still be there on my return.
When funds allow I shall get another one for the back to boost security even more!
