Without a Doubt The Best Lock in the World
I invested in an electric bike and wanted to feel that it was secure when out and about. With this lock l can leave it almost anywhere. I live in a very busy city where cycle theft is a very large industry.
Not for my bike though. I have seen cut locks and chains throughout , but mine has not even a touch.

Cylindre de serrure

Bandes réfléchissantes

Testé contre la plupart des verrous D du marché, LITELOK X1 est au moins 5 fois plus résistant aux coupes des meuleuses d'angle. De plus, le X1 nécessite plusieurs disques à couper et, en raison de son système anti-rotation, doit être coupé des deux côtés pour être retiré.

Barronium®
Le Barronium® est un blindage composite fusionné qui offre une résistance inégalée aux attaques de meuleuse, sans ajout de poids supplémentaire. Il s'agit d’un matériau composite céramique ultra-dur qui repousse les attaques de meuleuse en renvoyant l’énergie et la force de l’outil contre lui-même. Une découpe continue use les disques, vide les batteries, et finit par endommager le moteur de la meuleuse lui-même.

Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features.
X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1.
X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling U-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is compatible with our innovative X1 Tactical mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The X1 Tactical Mount fits a wide variety of bikes and e-bikes ensuring your LITELOK X1 is held securely even the roughest of terrain.
X1 is also compatible with the Twist & Go mount.
Both of the X1 mounts are sold separately.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by independent testing bodies Sold Secure and ART. Both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available) and ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.
What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, our patented anti‑angle grinder material, applied as a permanently fused composite armour to provide maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.

What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

This is solid! The weight may put some people off, but I just see it as extra training. It fits in my bag attach it using a VELO strap or put in my belt loop.
Someone asked me "what bike would you use this for?"
My answer: "The one I want to keep".
Living in the Capital, there are areas that bike thieves target. I do not plan on being the next victim, so why go cheap & regret it later.

Used this lock to secure my speed twin while on a 4 day uk south coast tour .we stayed overnight in hotels that didn’t offer secure parking!! ( only carpark cameras )
I was able to put this lock through the wheel spokes and around a suspension strut…

I bought this to protect my e-bike and motorcycle when I’m out and about. In fact I use it as extra security when they are in the garage too. The X1 is solid and feels up market. Obviously the proof of how good it is will be when someone tries to get it off. I’m not planning on that happening but you know what I mean.

This is an undeniably stable and secure U-Lock and gives me confidence when locking up my bike around Baltimore City. I love the high-vis reflectors and the smoothness of the turnkey lock. My only critique is that the U-shape is particularly narrow and proves challenging to loop around the front tire and frame when locking up on bike racks. I have a small frame step-through bicycle with quick release wheels, so attaching to both the wheel AND frame is essential. I'd love to see an extra wide option available one day for people with similar frames. :)

Love the subtle looks and design of the lock. It’s not too “in your face”, its subtle design is recognizable comparatively to a traditional u-lock/d-lock, but just enough to show the litelok flare. Very good secrurity and reliable.
