I think it's pretty good and does the job well. I like not having to strap my lock to my bike rack or carry it in a pannier. I would have given it five stars but for an ergonomic design detail that would have been nice to have... I carry my bike up and down my basement steps daily by grabbing the top tube and lifting it onto my shoulder. My grip is within a few inches of the seat tube. The square underside profile of the mount makes my grip looser and the bike more unwieldy so it makes this task harder. A curved underside profile would help. I considered alternative placements and this placement (see pic) caused the fewest problems. It's too bad that this mount has to be so big because I would have liked to put it on the seat tube—but that would have interfered with the most secure way I lock my bike up (by running the lock through the back tire, seat tube, and bike rack). I love how tightly the lock fits in the mount—no wiggling at all—but the protective rubber straps that protect the bike finish from the tightening straps are becoming misaligned because of the force I have to apply when placing/shoving the lock into the mount. (I'll try tightening up the straps some more.) Maybe LITELOK will keep working on a mount that will work with the attachment points/screws that seem standard on bike frames and we can avoid the clunky look of the fastening straps in a future redesign. Tactical mount was everything I needed for my e-bike and Litelok X3 lock. Until now I had been strapping my lock on to rack with different kind of elastic bands and straps and none of it was working really well. Tactical mount solved all my problems. My new mount is still a bit tough to use but I reckon little usage and wear will ease it in time.

The Tactical Mount, despite having a fairly silly name, is a decent, sturdy product that is easily fitted to your bike. It lets you mount your X3 to your bicycle’s frame, which given its weight is a much better option than putting it in your panniers. My only complaint is it can be a little stiff getting the X3 in and out, but on the other hand that does mean it’s nice and secure.

Took a long time coming and aimed at cyclists rather than motorcyclists. Great lock and some form of secure mount is required to enable you to carry it on every trip so it gets used. Oxford used to make a behind number plate mount and with modern 3d printing and carbon fibre an inexpensive mount should still be available.

Great addition to the Triumph Tiger 1200 to hold the X3 lock in place. This mount fits really good in the pannier rail when I'm on my weekly commute then when out touring I remove it, which is easily done using the Allan head fixings. The panniers are then fitted on the bike and the X3 goes in the panniers. Simple !

The mount is sturdy and much better than carrying the X3 separately. However, it's more difficult to mount and unmount the lock than it should be. The mount opening is so small that only one side of my X3 fits, and only when exactly perpendicular to the mount while applying a lot of force. It could be poor manufacturing on my particular units, but I expect to be able to slide the lock in and out easily, like in the product video.

The Mount for my LITELOK X3 is a very welcome accessory for my bike and not before time. The weight of the lock (a good thing) means it’s difficult to transport if I didn’t want to use my panniers. The Mount is very robust and after a few minutes reading the instructions was fairly easy to install. I have mine located vertically on the bike and it fits perfectly on the Seat Tube (I have a Specialized XL frame). It doesn’t rattle as I ride and so far no danger of the lock slipping the mounting. Good Mount and good value for money.

The mount fit my bicycle really well. It’s snug and it’s not moving around. I tried mounting it to three different places…the top tube, the down tube, and the seat tube. Ultimately I decided to mount it to the seat tube. This leaves me with enough space to also mount a mini u-lock as shown in this photo. This is a great product. Thank you Litelok!
